Pickup Policy
For Our Local Area Customers:

In most circumstances, we will process your order within 1-2 business days of receipt. We will package all items available from our shelf and send you an e-mail confirmation that your order is ready for pick up. Some items may require 4-8 business days to be completed. If this should occur you will be notified by email of any delay. We will notify you when the package has been shipped. A copy of your Receipt or a photo ID may be required for pick up.

If we do not have some item(s) on our shelf at the time of packaging, we will state which items are not available in our Confirmation to Pick Up e-mail. If any item ordered is discontinued, or temporarily unavailable from the manufacturer, we will notify you via email and advise you of this situation.  You may notify us via return e-mail or at the time of pick up if you would like us to Special Order the remaining items. Extra charges may be incurred in some cases.

If your order is not picked up within seven days of Notice for Pick Up, we will return the items to our shelf.

Shipping/Delivery Options

While most items are shipped within 1- 3 business days, some items may require 4-8 business days to be shipped. If this should occur you will be notified by email of any delay.  We will notify you when the package has been shipped.

If the item(s) are out of stock you will be notified of any delay. If any item ordered is discontinued, or temporarily unavailable from the manufacturer, we will notify you via email and advise you of this situation.
 

We usually use standard, overland 5-day delivery schedules. We use the United States Post Office or FedEx Ground under most circumstances. 

Orders totaling $50.00 or more after all discounts but before taxes, will qualify for free ground shipping.  Orders under $49.99 will be charged a $6.95 shipping (handling) fee at the time of the actual credit card processing, Sales tax, if applicable, will also be added at this time.

We do not offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada, as well as International Shipping. At the present time we are not shipping to military bases. We will ship to a Post Office Box using US MAIL, only if the credit card holder has the provided credit cards billing address as a PO Box that is the same as the shipping PO Box.

If you need to track your shipment, please refer to your Order Number on your order Receipt. Please send us e-mail with your request and we will respond with a status report as soon as possible.

Shipments Returned:

 

Any order returned to us for any of the reasons listed below may incur additional charges to reship the original order.

 

1: A notice was left by the United States Post Office (USPO) or United Parcel Service (UPS) that an attempt to deliver your package from us was left. In some cases USPO and UPS will not leave a box unattended if it is too large and no one is home at the time of the first attempt to make the delivery.

 

At this point you should contact the USPO or UPS to inquire about your package.

 

2:  Any incorrect shipping information that you provided when you placed your order.

 

The Customer will be responsible for all shipping costs for the reshipment of the original order along with any charges for proof of delivery and insurance that we may deem necessary for the 2nd delivery attempt.

 

If the package is returned we will contact you to make arrangements to reship the order. In the event the Customer decides to not have the order reshipped we will refund your original order less deductions for the following:

 

1: Any shipping costs paid by you.

 

2: Or any shipping costs that are paid by Healthmartvitamins.com when the subtotal of the original order came to $50.00 or over and free shipping was given.

 

3:  A 25% restocking fee for canceling the reshipping of the original order.

The customer must e-mail or call us to notify us of their instructions on reshipping the order. We request that all correspondence for your instructions and understanding of the costs to reship the original order be in writing with your authorization.

 

When you receive your credit card refund, any fees incurred for shipment/return along with restocking fees will be deducted from your credit card refund.

 

Please note that all charges are stated in United States currency. All weights are stated in US measurements (1 US pound equals approximately 0.45 kg.)

Sales Tax
State sales taxes of 7% are applied to all shipments within NJ, on taxable items, and will be added to your invoice when your credit card is processed.  NJ  sales taxes are not applied to shipments for destinations outside the State of NJ.  Sales taxes vary according to the category of item ordered. State tax is charged in accordance with the law and all tax collected is remitted directly to the State and is not kept by this Store. If you have a question about sales tax, please contact the store via e-mail, phone or at your next visit.

Payment Policy
Payment for Pick-up Orders is required at the time of pick up. We accept cash, check, Debit Cards, money orders, VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover Cards. Applicable sales tax will be added to your order at the time of pickup. Orders that are not picked up within seven days of Notice will be returned to the shelf.

Payment for mail orders can be paid with a money order made payable to Health Food Mart, Inc.  We also accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover Cards.  Applicable sales tax will be added to your order.

Return Policy

Refunds are provided for unopened products returned to the store in person or via a return shipment, less any shipping costs for the shipment/return of the package plus an additional 25% restocking fee. Returns must be made no later than 30 days from the date of purchase. A copy of your receipt is required with the product for a refund. Refunds will be processed upon receipt of the returned item(s) less any shipping charges and restocking fees you were billed. Refunds are not accepted on items returned more than 30 days from the date of purchase. When you receive your credit card refund, any fees incurred for shipment/return along with restocking fees will be deducted from your credit card refund.

Refunds may be provided for opened products returned to the store in person or via a return shipment, less any shipping costs for the shipment/return of the package plus an additional 25% restocking fee.  Returns must be made no later than 30 days from the date of purchase. Undeliverable Order:
